They work on almost all makes and models of vehicles. Minimum Requirements: - Five (5) years' experience Automotive Service Technician / Mechanic working on domestic, foreign and diesel vehicles all makes and models - Valid driver's license to drive and test vehicles Job Duties: - Provide outstanding customer service over the phone and in person - Repair / rebuild and diagnose new and used vehicles which include but not limited to: electronic and computer diagnostics, electrical, timing belt replacement, engine replacement, lube, oil / filter changes, transmission servicing / replacement, mufflers, complete exhaust repair, custom exhaust systems. Tires wheels / alignments, air conditioning service and repair including R-12 and R-134a systems. Drive train repair including CV axles, differentials, bearings, transfer cases, clutch replacement, brakes, window motors, windshields and much more. - Inspect vehicles for damage and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made. - Test drive vehicles and test components and systems, using equipment such as infrared engine analyzers, compression gauges, and computerized diagnostic devices. - Maintain cleanliness of work area. - Perform any other duties as assigned. Hours: - Full-time / forty (40) or more hours depending on the employers need - Typical schedule 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday Pay / Benefits: - Flat rate of $40 per book hour - On going training offered by the employer Employer Notes: - Applicant will provide their own hand and air tools or battery operated - Employer conducts a pre-employment drug test (urine / hair follicle). NOTE: If applicant has an on the job accident that requires more than first aid attention employer will drug test, and for just cause. This will be at the expense of the job seeker and employer will reimburse if applicant passes, but not if they fail.
