Investment Associate
Job Description:
Help progress active deal flow by managing timelines, coordinating with external advisors (legal, tax, accounting), and overseeing Virtual Data Rooms (VDR). Review Quality of Earnings (QofE) reports and commercial due diligence to identify potential "deal-breakers" or valuation adjustments.
Build and scale driver-based 3-statement models (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and multi-year projections from scratch.
Design frameworks and sensitivity analyses to quantify downside risk and upside potential.
Perform rigorous valuations using DCF frameworks, comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions.
Transform messy, raw operational data from target companies into structured, logical insights to support market entry or fundraising.
Requirements:
3–5 years of professional experience in financial modeling and transaction execution, typically gained within investment banking, private equity, private credit, or corporate development.
Expert-level proficiency in Excel (3-statement integration, DCF, data tables, and advanced simulations). You should be comfortable with "production-ready" models that require minimal oversight.
A foundational understanding of transaction legal docs, closing mechanics, and the nuances of different asset classes (Equity vs. Debt).
Ability to look beyond the numbers to understand the "story" of a business and identify operational risks.
Exceptional ability to document assumptions clearly and explain complex model logic to non-technical stakeholders.
Benefits:
High-impact projects: Work directly with companies like Apollo and Endeavor, solving real operational challenges—not theoretical exercises.
Flexibility & autonomy: Choose projects that match your expertise and availability. Work remotely, set your own rhythm, and grow your portfolio across industries.
Apprenticeship & growth: A curated pathway combining high-value projects with mentorship. Move from "doing" to "leading" through real work.
Community of top talent: Join a network of experienced specialists who collaborate across disciplines on complex engagements.
