Driver / Warehouse Associate

POSITION SUMMARY Masons Supply is a century-old, family-owned wholesale construction materials company based in the Northwest. With 14 locations throughout the Pacific Northwest, we specialize in delivering quality products. As a Driver / Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in safely loading, unloading, and delivering materials promptly and efficiently. Duties Include: Deliver materials to customers jobsites and unload when necessary Preventative maintenance on equipment Vehicle inspections Complete appropriate paperwork as required Warehouse labor Forklift operation Load and unload trucks Maintain warehouse organization Put away and pull Inventory from tickets Assisting walk-in customers with their needs Processing transfers to stock Monitors inventory shelf life Ensure the store is clean and inventory is well organized Maintain a clean and safe working environment Other duties as required Essential Requirements: Valid Class C driver’s license Medical Examiner’s Certificate Excellent driving record Pass screening requirements including drug screen Forklift operation knowledge and experience Ability to lift up to 100lbs Ability to perform normal tasks associated with operating a commercial motor vehicle Ability to bend and stoop, the ability to maintain a crouching position to inspect the underside of the vehicle, frequent entering and exiting of the cab, and the ability to climb ladders on the tractor and/or trailer(s) Perceptual skills to monitor a sometimes-complex driving situation and the judgment skills to make quick decisions when necessary Manipulative skills to control an oversize steering wheel, and maneuver a vehicle in crowded areas English language reading and writing proficiency Good math skills Positive, professional attitude with pleasant personality Problem-solving and prevention Ability to operate with moderate supervision, be detail oriented, and exercise independent judgment Customer service Verbal and written communications Well organized Work in a professional manner with others Preferred Requirements: Building products/hardware/construction experience preferred Flat Bed truck driving experience a plus Benefits: Paid holidays (after 90 days) Paid time off (upon hire) Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance (upon hire) 401k available (after 90 days) Employer paid long term disability and life insurance (after one year) Competitive Pay Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Company truck Dental insurance Fuel card Health insurance Life insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Paid training Vision insurance Shift: Day shift Work Days: Monday to Friday Shift availability: Day Shift (Required) Ability to Commute: Hillsboro, OR (Required) Ability to Relocate: Hillsboro, OR: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
