This position includes an open teaching field and the opportunity to build a competitive program grounded in character, discipline, and academic success.Primary ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all aspects of the boys soccer program (7–12 alignment encouraged)Develop athletes' skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadershipPlan, organize, and supervise practices, games, and offseason programsFoster a positive, accountable, and competitive team cultureCollaborate with campus and district staff to support student successMaintain compliance with UIL rules and district policiesEngage with parents and community to build program supportTeaching ResponsibilitiesTeach in an assigned subject area based on certification and campus needs (open field)Deliver high-quality, engaging instruction aligned to state standardsMonitor and support student academic progress, including athletesParticipate in PLCs and campus professional developmentQualificationsValid Texas teaching certificate (or ability to obtain)Demonstrated coaching experience, preferably at the secondary levelStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsCommitment to developing the whole student—academically and athleticallyPreferred QualificationsHead coaching experience or coordinator-level experienceProven track record of program development and student-athlete success
