Managing Engineer

They provides a full array of engineering, public works design and construction and project management services.The OpportunityWe are looking for a Managing Engineer with a minimum of 12 or more years of experience. The ideal candidate for this opportunity is a dependable and adaptable civil engineering professional, capable of marketing and winning work, leading a team, and carrying out managerial duties to staff. Experience in client management and sales is a plus. They demonstrate strong organizational, leadership and communication skills, can work independently while thriving in a team environment, and are personable and professional in their demeanor.Responsibilities:Supervises the work of Staff Engineers including serving as Engineer of RecordPrepares proposals and contracts, renderings and collecting bills, job performance and serving as the firm's responsible contact with specific clientsWorks to ensure projects are profitable and on schedule and meet the requirements of our clientsMentoring and supporting staffMaintain client relationships and identify new project leadsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Civil EngineeringMinimum 12 or more years of demonstrated design and management experienceCalifornia PE License requiredExperience with AutoCAD and Civil 3DExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent customer service skills including an ability to interact professionally and knowledgeably with clientsSelf-motivated and goal oriented, with strong attention to detailSolid experience with the MS Office Suite
