The Association Office of the YMCA of Middle Tennessee is Now Hiring for a HR GeneralistPay Type: SalaryPay Range: $57066 per year to $71,332 (depending on experience)Schedule: Full-time, flexible schedule with availability for evenings, weekends, and travel to multiple YMCA locations as needed.We’re excited to add an HR Generalist to our People Services team! If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love building strong relationships, and want to make a real impact across the YMCA, we’d love to have you on our team.What You’ll Do:Serve as a trusted HR partner to Center and Association leaders on employee relations, performance management, hiring, and complianceProvide guidance on ADA, FMLA, FLSA, accommodations, and employment best practicesSupport recruiting and hiring processes, including interviews and offer approvalsAnalyze HR data and trends to support better decision-making, helping drive innovation within HR practicesDeliver HR trainings and help foster engagement, inclusion, and retention across the organizationWhat We’re Looking For:Minimum Age: 21Education: Four-year degree (or equivalent combination of life and work experience)Experience: At least three years' progressive HR experienceStrong working knowledge of employment and TN labor lawFamiliarity with HRIS systems (Paycom preferred)Excellent communication, organization, and judgment skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and work independently in a deadline-driven environmentComfort traveling to multiple YMCA locations and working a flexible schedulePost-hire Certifications:Paycom System Training within two weeksAdult Mental Health First Aid within six months.Ready to support employees, strengthen teams, and live out the YMCA mission every day?
