This is a non-exempt position that would receive overtime for working over 40 hours a week. We strive for quality not quantity.What You'll DoAssembly of discrete and multichip semiconductor packages.Carry out precise encapsulant dispensing and controlled curing of products to meet quality and process requirements.Manually load and unload components into and out of assembly fixtures.Basic Operation and general cleaning maintenance of manufacturing equipment.Keep workspaces clean and organized.Carry out safe cleaning, handling, and cross-departmental movement of products and materials in accordance with established procedures.Accurately complete production documentation, including assembly records, travelers, and quality logs.Conduct thorough visual inspections to confirm workmanship accuracy and adherence to quality requirements.Ensure all work performed is recorded on the company portal at the end of each shift.Operate microscopes, tweezers, and vacuum pens as required for product handling.Identify, document, and report defects, component issues, or process deviations.Additional responsibilities may be assigned.What You NeedRequired Qualifications:Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.Can perform repetitive tasks with attentiveness.Steady hands for manual placement of small components.Capable of following procedures, detailed written/verbal instructions.Exhibits strong communication skillsverbal, written, and digitaland maintains clear, accurate documentation.Effectively prioritizes tasks to meet deadlines and workflow demands.Works independently with minimal supervision while also contributing positively to team efforts.Must be a U.S. Person (includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees).Preferred Qualifications:Possess mechanical aptitude.Good at multi-tasking.Shows adaptability and a proactive attitude, taking on whatever tasks are required to achieve successful outcomes.Strong troubleshooting skills.Possesses intermediate computer skills including MS Office, Excel and Outlook.Knowledge of electrical/electronic components and terminology.Manufacturing experience a plus.Physical Requirements:Able to wear or full-face respirators and all required PPE.Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.Some bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, mild lifting of 10 pounds or less.Some assemblers are required to intermittently lift up to 50 pounds.What We OfferCompetitive pay and comprehensive health benefits401(k) with company match and retirement plansPaid time off and flexible work arrangementsProfessional development and training opportunitiesEmployee wellness programs and assistance resourcesA collaborative environment working on mission-critical technologyApply online through Teledyne's careers page.
