PRN Registered Sleep Technologist needed Responsibilities will include:Facilitating tests and collecting datResponsible for preparing equipment, recording activities, and analyzing resultsResponsible for following proper polysomnographic procedures including the use of electrodes, sensors, calibration of equipment, and fitting of airway pressure masksAnalysis (scoring) of clinical events, such as respiratory and cardiac episodes, and tabulation of final data to be submitted for further reviewRequired compliance with regulations and laws concerning safety control Job Requirements: High School diploma or higher education levelCompletion of an accredited Polysomnography programCertified by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist "RPSGT" or certified as a Registered Respiratory TherapistCurrent BCLS certificationVaccination and immunization records or titers may be requiredPhysical Demands of the Job:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit, talk and hear.
