Job DescriptionSr. Supply PlannerRole SummaryThe Sr. Supply Chain Planner position is a key role within our organization to execute inventory excellence for our customers. An enthusiastic self-starter with a strong drive to improve existing processes and systems is highly desired. Excellent organizational and communication skills are a necessity. Key objectives will be exceeding customer service levels, managing inventory levels, and fulfilling supply planning’s role in the S&OP process.Essential ResponsibilitiesManage & execute the supply planning function for finished goods with key partners;Plan & execute procurement of finished goods from global contract manufacturers and suppliers.Maintain purchase order status and shipment tracking information in Oracle ERP systemMaintain strong working relationships and communications directly with the OEMs, TTI Asia Team, including supply chain management, sourcing, & order processingDetermine inventory levels on a DC basis and deploy inventory as needed to support domestic safety stock for key vendorsMaximize production schedules and ramp-up plans to achieve product launchesSupport one of fastest growing and most profitable business units within the Floor care divisionBecome a key member of the new product development process and support product teams through product life cycle managementExposure to senior leadership and broad consumer goods experience Manage & report key performance indicators;Interpret and utilize customer metrics to analyze supply performanceCommunicate and manage supply exceptions to maintain both fill rate and inventory excellenceOn time and full launch of new productsComplete special projects and assignments to enhance business processesQualifications/Requirements2 – 4+ years Supply Chain Planning experience, including experience in the consumer goods industry;Manufacturing experience preferred.Knowledge and understanding of supply chain concepts and applicationStrong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to draw information from various sources, analyze, and provide a recommendationStrong planning, & organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills (oral & written)Proficient in Microsoft Office, with excellent Excel skillsOracle system experience highly desiredSelf-starter with the ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing prioritiesFlexible work schedule; willingness to participate in teleconferences during evening hours with Chinese vendors.Maintains superior level of accuracy while doing any work, particularly involving order managementAble to work well under pressure and deal effectively with competing forces within the organizationStrong organizational, communication (oral, written, and group) and presentation skills.Team player, positive attitude, dependable & takes initiativeContinuous Improvement focused thinkerThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employees assigned to this position.
