This role is responsible for the daily upkeep of landscaped and paved areas, ensuring a clean, attractive, and welcoming environment for our residents.The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, values safety, and demonstrates professionalism in alignment with company standards and policies.Key ResponsibilitiesFollow all safety procedures and regulationsInstall, repair, and adjust irrigation systemsWeed, mow, edge, and fertilize landscaped areasPrune and trim flowers, shrubs, and trees according to proper horticultural guidelinesIdentify, prevent, and treat plant diseases as directedIdentify and control pests such as gophers, snails, aphids, and other common landscape issuesMaintain storage facilities, tools, equipment, and landscape workshop in a clean and organized conditionReport safety concerns and overall property appearance issues to the Landscape Supervisor, Maintenance Supervisor, or Property ManagerRemove visible trash and debris throughout the propertyPerform additional duties as assigned Note: Duties may vary depending on the size and needs of the community.QualificationsRequired:Bilingual in Spanish and EnglishMinimum 1 year of experience in horticulture or landscape maintenanceKnowledge of plant types including trees, shrubs, groundcovers, and common weedsUnderstanding of pruning, planting, staking, and deadheading techniquesFamiliarity with hand and power tools used in landscape maintenance and safe operating practicesAbility to provide excellent customer service Preferred:High School Diploma or equivalent Work EnvironmentOn-site position at an apartment communityRegular interaction with residents, team members, and vendorsSchedule typically 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.Weekend work (Saturday/Sunday) requiredOvertime may be required based on property needsMust be flexible with scheduling Physical RequirementsFrequently required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and reachAbility to lift and/or move up to 50 poundsAbility to safely operate hand and power toolsMust be capable of performing physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions Why Join Us?We are committed to maintaining a high-quality, safe living environment for our residents and creating a professional, team-oriented workplace.
