Quality Assurance Technician-Trim Analysis

Position SummaryAnalyze fat samples using the core samples collected on all combos produced. Analyzing will take place in the MeatScan machine and/or MeatMaster. Accurate records need to be kept for each individual combo. Position may also include collecting AQL samples on combos, inspecting for and documenting any defects found.Job Responsibilities:Perform assigned QA testing or source testing on raw materials and supplies.Testing shall be accomplished in compliance with local, state federal and company policies and procedures.Maintain testing equipment in a sanitary condition.Maintain detailed and accurate records completing all required documentation of laboratory samples and testing.Maintain detailed and accurate records of inspections of AQL auditsOther duties as assigned.Must be flexible to work within production hours.Job Requirements:High School Diploma or GEDMust demonstrate positive attitude, strong work ethic, decisive nature & high level of initiativeAbility to prioritize tasks and ability to work with minimal supervision effectivelyMathematical and problem solving skillsStrong interpersonal & organizational skillsExperience preferred but not necessary, willing to trainAbility to communicate effectively in a diverse workforce and upper managementMust be 18 years of age and authorized to work in the USMust have the ability to read, write and speak EnglishPhysical Demands:Ability to lift 50lbs, stand, bend and walk 8-10 hrs. dayWork Environment:Ability to work in cold or hot environmentObey safety rules and exercise caution in all work activities.
