Customer Service Representative - Colony Park NorthTo answer inquiries and obtain information for the general public and visitors. To provide administrative support. To act as central liaison for patients and family members within the medical center.High school graduate/GED. Customer service experience preferred. Certifications, Licenses or Registration Required: NAKnowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personnel services. Basic verbal and written communication skills. Active listening and phone skills. Interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively with others involved in patient care and display organizational skills.Responsibilities:Meets and greets each patient/family as they enter the departments waiting area. Assists patients getting into the area.Communicates with triage and charge nurse. Recognizes job relationship and performs within the organizational structure.Greets visitors, determines nature and purpose of visit, and directs or escorts them to specific destinations.Registers patients and issues visitor passes. Facilitates communication pathways. Minimizes stress as it relates to department waiting area.Maintains a confidential, ethical and safe environment. Performs periodic inspections of waiting rooms to check on condition of patients, customer service needs, and for room cleanliness; notifies staff of any changes in patient condition requiring immediate attention.Performs other duties as assigned.The duties listed are general in nature and are examples of the duties and responsibilities performed and are not meant to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive.
