Cable Assembler II Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour Location: Beverly, MA Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire Shift Monday-Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Join a Growing Manufacturing Team! We're looking for an experienced Cable Assembler II to join a leading electronics manufacturing company in Beverly, MA. If you have hands-on cable assembly and soldering experience in a manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you! This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a stable schedule and long-term career potential. Responsibilities Build cable assemblies from blueprints, drawings, and manufacturing work instructions. Measure, cut, strip, and terminate wires and cables to specifications. Perform manual and machine crimping. Solder wires, terminals, plugs, and connectors. Inspect and repair rejected assemblies as needed. Use rulers, hand tools, and measuring equipment accurately. Follow work instructions and quality standards while maintaining production goals. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of cable assembly experience. Previous manufacturing experience required. Strong soldering skills (hands-on experience required). Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions. Experience measuring in fractions using a ruler. Experience cutting, stripping, and crimping wires. Good manual dexterity and attention to detail. Basic math skills. Ability to read, write, and speak English. High School Diploma or GED. Preferred Qualifications IPC-610 and/or IPC-620 certification (preferred but not required). Experience building cable assemblies from start to finish. Experience soldering wires and pins to terminals. Interview Process Qualified candidates will complete: In-person interview Hands-on soldering assessment Skills evaluation including: Soldering Reading drawings/work instructions Measuring Wire stripping Physical Requirements Lift up to 25 lbs. Frequent use of small hand tools. Standing, walking, and sitting throughout the shift. Cutting cable up to 2 inches in diameter. Additional Information 4-Panel Drug Screen Required (THC is not a disqualifier) Background screening required. Temp-to-Hire opportunity.
