You can read more here about TEAM LEWIS Foundation.Purpose of the roleThe Campaign Director of Media Strategy will use their extensive knowledge in media and public relations, content creation/storytelling, thought leadership, media messaging, and senior executive profiling to create unified media campaigns. Leading the creation of unique story angles and planning media strategies across channels, the Director is responsible for ensuring that all elements of the media plan are working together effectively and are delivering against expectations and goals.About YouYou have a passion for engaging with the media and for delivering compelling stories to the clients’ audiences. Motivated by working in an agile environment, you relish the opportunity to think differently and to try new things.Key Responsibilities And TasksWork with client leads and account teams to develop creative, results-driven campaigns that meet the clients’ objectives; assess the campaigns’ effectiveness and fine tune accordinglyHelp teams to identify news opportunities (news jacking) and develop content in real timeWork with account teams to come up with strong storytelling angles/editorial content that is fresh, relevant and newsworthyIncorporate new media platforms, understanding how to leverage these to achieve the overall communications objectivesLeverage media relationships to accomplish objectivesDrive knowledge of, and relationships with, the mediaDevelop media pitching strategies and coach account teams to pitch stories successfullyDevelop strong relationships with clients, acting as counsel and providing added-value strategic consultancy to help foster client retention and growthHelp run executive profiling programs, including media training and messaging sessions with senior/C-suite clientsRecommend media strategy and content for RFIs and pitchesLead internal media strategy training sessionsBe a collaborative, encouraging and supportive member of the US teamThis job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of the responsibilities for this role.
