Special Education Bus AideThe job of Special Education Bus Aide was established for the purpose of assisting/maintaining good behavior of students while they are being transported to and from school; and providing assistance with students' health care.BARGAINING UNIT MEMBERS WILL BE CONSIDERED BEFORE THE GENERAL PUBLICWork Year: 192 Days Approximately 5 hours per day 6:30am-9:00am; 2:00pm-4:30pm Hours may vary based on needQualifications:Must be able to meet the physical demands of the working environment. High School Diploma or equivalent REQUIRED.The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 65% sitting, 30% walking, and 5% standing. This job is performed in a generally clean and healthy environment.
