The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic X-ray procedures, ensuring patient safety, and working with physicians and medical staff to deliver high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.Key Responsibilities:Perform diagnostic X-ray exams as requested by physicians, ensuring high-quality images.Properly position patients and adjust equipment settings based on the type of exam.Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.Follow radiation safety protocols, minimizing exposure to patients, staff, and self.Maintain accurate patient records, including images, reports, and related documentation.Assist in preparing patients for imaging procedures and provide education on the process.Collaborate with radiologists to review images for clarity and diagnostic quality.Maintain and clean X-ray equipment and ensure that it is functioning properly.Assist with inventory management of imaging supplies and equipment.Qualifications:Education:Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.Certification:Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification required.
