Maintenance Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and demonstrate proficiency in various technical skills. This role is essential for ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning optimally, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing repairs, conducting routine maintenance, and overseeing projects as needed. Duties Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs. Perform repairs on mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting and repairs. Execute welding tasks as required for structural or equipment repairs. Interpret schematics and technical drawings to guide maintenance activities. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Supervise junior maintenance staff and provide leadership during projects. Assist with residential painting and other aesthetic improvements as needed. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with facility occupants. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repair. Familiarity with electrical systems and components, including the use of an ohmmeter. Previous supervisory experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Experience in manufacturing environments is preferred but not mandatory. A commitment to safety protocols and best practices in all maintenance activities.
