The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, components, and equipment in residential and commercial settings, following all local, state, and national electrical codes. Daily responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings, running wire and conduit, installing panels, outlets, lighting, and fixtures, and verifying proper grounding and system functionality. The role also involves diagnosing electrical issues, performing corrective repairs, and conducting preventive maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation. The Electrician will collaborate with team members and supervisors, complete accurate documentation of work performed, and maintain a clean, safe job site at all times.Qualifications Strong practical knowledge of electricity and electrical work, including working safely with live and de-energized systems.Hands-on experience in maintenance & repair and troubleshooting of electrical systems, components, and equipment.Familiarity with basic electrical engineering concepts as they relate to load calculations, circuit design, and system layout.Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.Current state Electrician license or journeyperson-level experience (or equivalent relevant experience as permitted by local regulations).Working knowledge of NEC, local electrical codes, and applicable safety standards (e.g., OSHA).Proficiency with common electrical tools, testing devices, and personal protective equipment.Reliable transportation to job sites in and around Middleburg, FL, and ability to work in various indoor and outdoor environments.Effective communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and strong attention to detail.High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrical apprenticeship program is preferred.
