We are currently seeking a Part-Time Cook to join our Dietary team.This role may also include some dietary aide duties , assisting with meal service and kitchen operations as needed. If you enjoy cooking and want to be part of a team that truly makes a difference, we'd love to meet you!Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to menus, recipes, and dietary guidelinesEnsure meals are served on time, at proper temperatures, and with appropriate presentationFollow portion control standards and safe food-handling practicesMaintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, equipment, and work areas in compliance with health and safety standardsAssist with food preparation, tray assembly, meal service, and cleanup as neededSupport inventory management, food storage, and supply rotationWork collaboratively with the Dietary Manager and team to meet resident needs and preferencesQualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferredPrior experience as a cook in healthcare, hospitality, or restaurant settings preferredKnowledge of food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures requiredAbility to read and follow recipes and dietary instructionsDependable, team-oriented, and able to work independently when neededWillingness to assist with dietary aide duties as requiredWhy Choose Lakeside Health & Rehab?
