Pool and Spa Manager

DescriptionThe Pool and Spa Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pool and spa facilities, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, safety compliance, and team leadership. This role manages staff, maintains facility standards, oversees budgets, and ensures compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements. RequirementsMaintain cleanliness, presentation, and operational readiness of all pool and spa areas. Monitor facility safety standards and ensure compliance with local, state, and company regulations. Conduct routine inspections of pool systems, spa equipment, and facility conditions. Coordinate maintenance and repairs with internal teams or vendors. Manage inventory of towels, supplies, chemicals, and retail items as applicable. Develop work schedules and ensure appropriate staffing levels based on business demands. Support budgeting processes, cost control, and departmental financial performance. Track and report operational metrics, guest feedback, and service opportunities. Ensure employee training on safety, guest service, and operational procedures. Lead employee performance management, including coaching, feedback, and accountability. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. 3+ years of leadership experience in pool operations, spa operations, hospitality, or recreation management. Strong knowledge of pool maintenance, safety procedures, and spa operations. Knowledge of health department regulations and safety compliance standards. Experience leading teams in a guest-facing environment. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays. CPR, First Aid, and other applicable certifications preferred. Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed. Ability to work in outdoor conditions and around pool environments. Ability to respond quickly to emergencies.
