As a Senior Hydraulic Modeling Engineer, you will directly contribute to the planning, design, and construction of water infrastructure projects, with a specific focus on water distribution systems. This opportunity involves working with a growing team of hydraulic modelers on a variety of projects locally, regionally, and nationwide.Your ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor the development, calibration, and application of hydraulic models for water distribution systems, and analyze results to provide actionable recommendations to clientsLead water system master planning studies and capital improvement plan (CIP) developmentLead and mentor booster station analyses to evaluate system capacity, reliability, and energy efficiencyDevelop current and future water demand projections to support planning effortsDesign, develop, and deliver digital tools, dashboards, and data-driven solutionsPrepare clear, concise, and professional technical reports and presentationsAnalyze, organize, and interpret large, complex datasets to support engineering decisionsConduct fieldwork and site visits as needed during planning, design, and construction phasesCollaborate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to successfully deliver projectsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Environmental, Civil, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field from an ABET-accredited U.S. programProfessional Engineer (PE) license preferred10+ years of relevant professional experience in hydraulic modeling, water/wastewater systems, or related engineering disciplinesStrong interest in hydraulic modeling and the water industrySolid understanding of hydraulic principles, system analyses, and modeling methodologiesExperience with hydraulic modeling software such as InfoWater, WaterGEMS, or EPANET, or a strong aptitude and desire to expand expertise in these platformsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teamsStrong critical thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skillsBenefits SummaryAt OHM Advisors, our people are our greatest asset.
