Materials Handler III
Job DescriptionThe Material Handler III assists the production process by ensuring that materials are delivered to the assembly line in an organized fashion. They assist with receiving orders and contribute to maintaining raw goods inventory counts and are responsible for supporting the logistics in coordinating and managing the movement of goods and materials.ResponsibilitiesConduct physical inventories and cycle counts on a regular, on-going basis to ensure inventory accuracyLocate and pull materials and supplies for production orders, perform advanced kitting assignments to meet production schedulesSupply production area with WIP and raw materialsReceive all incoming material deliveries and inputs location of material into inventory system, manage the inventory databasesMaintain supplies, tools, material parts, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulationsEnsure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promote continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practicesCommunicate shortages to stakeholders, audit and prep kits for release to productionInvestigate count discrepancies between ERP database and physical inventory to correct errors, and identify root cause and provide solutions to reduce loss or wasteExperience QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of three (3) years of experience in area of responsibility.High School Diploma or GEDAbout Frontgrade ABOUT US At Frontgrade, we build mission-critical electronics that perform without compromise in the world’s most demanding environments, from deep space to national defense.
