Within this Global network, MTU Maintenance Fort Worth provides hospital shop and on-site maintenance services.Commercial Engine A&P Technician Experienced A&P Licensed or P Licensed Technician to perform shop-level work both in the MTU Maintenance shop and in the field, domestically and internationally, as job scopes warrant. Job duties include a large range of maintenance from service bulletin and AD compliance to inspections and Level one repairs. Individuals must maintain a high level of performance and integrity and be an effective team player with leadership potential.Individuals should have experience with Borescope inspections, top and bottom case compressor repairs, module removal and installation, engine change and QEC, AD and SB modifications, hot section replacements and repairs, configuration change, fan blade replacement, and lease return inspections.Duties/Responsibilities:Shop level maintenance required. Prefer experience with the following engines:CFM 56LEAP GE90Understands and can comply with the FAA and EASA requirements of return to service engines and aircraftComply with FAA, EASA, and Company Policies and proceduresAbility to learn as well as teach others on work scopesAssist engineers in testing and troubleshooting equipmentConduct heavy lifting of equipment and materialsUse precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracyMaintain and update equipment records in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)Assist in general shop maintenance tasks as needed Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skillsWillingness to take responsibility and work overtime as requiredWork as a team memberExcellent work ethic and motivation for a high standard of workLeadership qualitiesPassport Preferred or the ability to obtain oneGlobal Travel as RequiredRepresent the company in a professional manner and reflect a positive image with customersEducation and Experience:High school diploma preferred; A&P License is acceptable but must have Powerplant license at the very leastMust have large engine experience in a setting other than line maintenance.
