Role Description This is a part-time, on-site role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area for a Junior Estimator. The Junior Estimator will support the estimation and bid preparation process for various building maintenance and property management projects. Daily responsibilities include analyzing project requirements, creating cost estimates, collating material and labor pricing, preparing bid documents, coordinating site visits, and working with vendors to obtain competitive quotes. The role requires attention to detail, collaboration with internal teams, and meeting deadlines to ensure accurate and timely submissions. Qualifications Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate construction plans, project requirements, and associated costsProficiency in estimating software, spreadsheets, and computer tools related to cost estimationEffective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with vendors, team members, and clientsAttention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accurate and timely completion of estimates and bidsBasic knowledge of building maintenance, construction, or property management processesAbility to work on-site in the New York City Metropolitan AreaExperience in an estimation or related role is a plusHigh school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred
