We are a heavy civil contractor specializing in large site infrastructure, underground utilities and roadway construction throughout Central Florida. The technician ensures equipment is operating safely and efficiently and tracks all necessary repairs and preventative maintenance.Responsibilities:Inspect, diagnose and troubleshoot small engines and related equipment.Perform preventative maintenance on small engines and related equipment.Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.Maintain accurate service records of inspections, repairs and maintenance performed.Operate hand tools, diagnostic equipment and specialized machinery for repairs.Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members and equipment operators regarding repairs and equipment conditions.Keep work area clean, organized and safe.Desired Qualifications : Must be at least 18 years of age2 years' experience preferred, but not requiredAbility to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift to 40 poundsKnowledge of small engine repairsValid driver's license requiredMust be able to repair power tools such as jumping jacks, saws, blowers, etcAbility to repair 2 cycle and 4 cycle enginesAbility to work independently or as an active member of a teamBenefits: Paid HolidaysGenerous Paid Time Off (PTO) packageMedical, Dental, Vision, and Supplemental Insurances with employer contributions401K with employer matchLong-Term IncentivesSubmit your application by clicking on the "apply" button for the position desired.
