ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/06/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - NICU Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM • Schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts per week • Must have level 1 Trauma Hospital setting and level IV NICU experience • Ability to float throughout all children's units required • Required certifications: NRP (American Heart Association) and BLS (American Heart Association) • Current Oklahoma nursing license or current multistate compact RN license required • Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required (BSN preferred) • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required • Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex • Assume responsibility for assigned group of patients • Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments • Assist physicians in examination of patients and performing minor diagnostic procedures • Monitor physiological data and observe patient manifestations • Administer medications as prescribed • Initiate, regulate and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products • Interact with families and patients regarding care plans and discharge planning • Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel • Delegate tasks to support staff • Maintain good working relationships with other employees • Respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors Facility: This pediatric healthcare facility provides specialized medical care for children and infants, featuring a level IV NICU and comprehensive children's services.
