Real Estate & Joint Venture Attorney

Our client, an AV-rated Tampa law firm, seeks a highly experienced Real Estate / Joint Venture Tax Attorney to join its Corporate and Tax Group.Candidates will have 2+ years of relevant experience, exceptional analytical and business skills, and strong credentials such as an LL.M. in Taxation, CPA designation, or experience at a large law or accounting firm. Candidates should have substantial experience in advising on the tax aspects of real estate transactions and with partnership taxation, particularly in real estate and complex joint ventures. Including opportunity zone funds, equity rollover transactions, and the formation, structuring, and operation of investment funds. The role involves advising on high-profile transactions, including joint ventures for commercial, industrial, and multifamily real estate developments, and representing family offices, real estate developers and sponsors, registered investment advisors, and private equity and venture capital funds.No portable book of business is required. Remote arrangements will be considered. The position offers sophisticated work, immediate responsibility, excellent compensation and benefits, and a partnership opportunity or clear path to partnership, depending on experience.
