Job SummaryRandstad is seeking a detail-oriented Document Control Analyst for a high-impact, remote contract role with a premier transportation client in Washington, D.C. This position sits within the Digital Technology department and is dedicated to supporting the Real Estate division through the end-to-end management of critical property assets. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, security, and accessibility of complex land records across diverse platforms-including Documentum, SharePoint, and Iron Mountain-while driving a comprehensive cleanup initiative to eliminate redundancies. This is a project-based role through September 30, 2026, offering a unique opportunity to govern large-scale digital repositories and support corporate compliance standards for a major national infrastructure leader.location: Washington, Washington, D.C.job type: Contractsalary: $45 - 55 per hourwork hours: 9am to 5pmeducation: BachelorsResponsibilitiesSystem Oversight & Retrieval: Monitor the Iron Mountain FTP site to ensure the seamless download, verification, and completeness of all retrieved real estate files.Repository Management: Upload documents into Documentum using strict standardized naming conventions and maintain secure backup protocols via SharePoint.Data Integrity & Auditing: Conduct routine audits of shared drives and SharePoint sites to identify, consolidate, or relocate duplicate files, optimizing system efficiency.Real Estate Technical Support: Review and categorize complex scanned deeds and land schedules, ensuring all documentation is accurately reflected in internal tracking systems.Classification & Compliance: Analyze records to determine their relevance to the real estate portfolio and assign proper governance classifications based on corporate retention policies.Process Optimization: Collaborate with Digital Technology teams to improve records management workflows and ensure the repository is "audit-ready" at all times.QualificationsTechnical Proficiency: Proven experience managing digital real estate records within enterprise systems such as Documentum, SharePoint, or OpenText.Real Estate Knowledge: Prior experience handling real estate documentation (e.g., deeds, easements, land titles, or schedules) is strongly preferred.Information Governance: Strong understanding of document lifecycle management, naming conventions, and records retention standards.Analytical Skills: High level of attention to detail with the ability to identify data redundancies and categorize complex legal documents accurately.Project Management: Ability to handle high volumes of digital data independently and meet strict project milestones through 2026.Communication: Excellent organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both IT and Real Estate business units.Equal Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.At Randstad Digital, we welcome people of all abilities and want to ensure that our hiring and interview process meets the needs of all applicants.
