We are looking for leaders who are accountable, growth-oriented, and serious about advancing their careers.Position SummaryThe Guild Brewing Company is seeking a Finance Controller to lead and oversee core accounting and financial operations at our Pawtucket-based brewery. This role will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, managing close processes, supporting supply chain finance, and driving improvements across financial systems and processes.This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both technical expertise and the ability to partner cross-functionally with operations, production, and supply chain teams.The position will report directly to senior leadership and interact regularly with internal departments as well as external vendors, customers, and partners.Finance Controller: Key ResponsibilitiesLead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and timelinessPrepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecastsOversee general ledger activity, reconciliations, and financial controlsManage inventory accounting, including raw materials and finished goods valuationPartner with supply chain and operations to monitor inventory levels, cost of goods sold, and production efficiencyReview and reconcile outbound shipments and related revenue recognitionEnsure compliance with GAAP and support external audits and statutory reportingDevelop, maintain, and improve financial models, reporting tools, and dashboardsDrive process improvements within accounting, reporting, and ERP (SAP-based) systemsSupervise and mentor junior accounting or administrative staff, as applicableLead or support special projects related to growth, expansion, and operational efficiencyQualificationsRequired:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5–7 years of progressive experience in accounting or financeStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reportingExperience managing or heavily participating in month-end close processesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelingExperience with ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred)Preferred:Experience in manufacturing, beverage, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industriesCPA or CPA-track candidateExperience with inventory and cost accountingKey CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentEffective communication and cross-functional collaborationProcess improvement and systems-thinking mindsetLeadership potential with a hands-on approachHow to ApplyTo be considered for this position, please send your resume and cover letter to info@islebrewers.comEqual Opportunity StatementIsle Brewers Guild, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to workforce diversity.
