Customer Engagement Assistant II Office Support | Aquatics Join the Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District (THPRD) as a Customer Engagement Assistant II and demonstrate your excellent customer service skills! THPRD is seeking dedicated and self-motivated individuals committed to providing exceptional customer service for our aquatic centers. In the role of Customer Engagement Assistant II for THPRD Aquatics, you'll serve as the main point of contact for patrons, helping foster a welcoming and inclusive environment while providing vital administrative support to ensure smooth facility operations. Position location: Aloha Swim Center Key responsibilities: Greet patrons professionally and courteously, in person and over the phone. Provide information on schedules, programs, and general district services. Answer and direct telephone calls; take messages accurately when needed. Perform general clerical duties, including data entry, preparing and proofreading forms, letters, flyers, and other materials. Assist with program enrollment, registration, payment processing, and generating required reports. Qualifications: Experience with office management, customer service, or administrative work. Strong commitment to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment. Basic understanding of relevant software, especially Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams). Ability to learn and use proprietary registration software. Scheduling & Pay: Pool hours vary by center and programming needs. Shifts will be assigned based on operational needs. Part time variable staff may work fewer than 29 average hours per week or less than 1,560 hours annually. The hiring rate for this position is $20.15, based on experience and internal equity. The full hourly range for this job classification is $20.15 to $22.71. Staff may be eligible for a merit increase at the end of September.
