This position is ideal for someone interested in photography, creative entrepreneurship, and the behind-the-scenes operations of a working studio.This is a dynamic role, no two days are the same. You’ll be involved in everything from shoot preparation, to client communication, to ensuring the studio runs smoothly and the brand is consistently represented.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction CoordinationBuild and manage production timelines and shoot logisticsCoordinate with clients, vendors, and collaboratorsAssist in planning shoot days, call sheets, and deliverablesEnsure projects stay on track from pre-production through deliveryPhotography & Creative SupportAssist on photoshoots (lighting setup, styling, client coordination)Support post-production workflow (file sorting, basic editing in Lightroom/Photoshop)Marketing & ContentSupport content creation for social media, website, and marketing campaignsAssist with brand storytelling and visual consistency across platformsOrganize and manage digital assets for marketing useHelp execute outreach, promotions, and client-facing materialsStudio Operations & ManagementMaintain studio cleanliness, organization, and readiness for shootsPrep gear and assist with setup and teardownCoordinate scheduling, bookings, and calendar managementCreate production schedules using Adobe InDesign (required)Handle administrative tasks including email organization, invoicing support, and file managementQualificationsStrong organizational and time-management skillsDetail-oriented with the ability to anticipate needsComfortable multitasking and working independentlyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Lightroom, and InDesign (required)Working knowledge of QuickBooks (required)Interest in photography, creative work, or studio environmentsReliable transportation (required for errands and off-site shoots)What You’ll GainHands-on experience in a professional photography studioInsight into both the creative and business sides of photographyMentorship and ongoing skill developmentOpportunity for growth and increased responsibility over timeCompensationCompetitive pay based on experienceHourly (part-time) or salary (full-time), depending on role and availabilityPotential for long-term growth within the studioHow to ApplyPlease send your resume, a brief introduction, and any relevant portfolio or experience (if applicable) to hello@jeffsciortino.com.
