Details Work in the Interventional Radiology unit of an acute care, adult Level II teaching hospital Care for adult and geriatric patient populations Schedule consists of four 9-hour day shifts, 07:00 to 16:30 Weekend shifts required every other or every third weekend based on department needs On-call required: one night per week (16:30-07:00) and every third weekend (Friday 16:30 to Monday 07:00) No floating required outside of the IR unit Uses Epic for documentation Navy scrubs required Requirements Active MI RN license required at time of submission Minimum of 2 years Interventional Radiology nursing experience Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required Previous charge nurse experience required Experience in Interventional Radiology, pre/post procedure care, and special procedures required Epic EMR experience preferred First-time travelers accepted Additional Information Primary responsibilities include specialized nursing care for interventional radiology patients, including pre- and post-procedure care Work alongside a multidisciplinary team in a teaching hospital environment Free parking available on site Holiday coverage may be required based on department needs Locals are accepted with no distance or radius restrictions All time off requests must be submitted during the application process American Traveler Job ID P-673032.
