Retail Sales Rep
Job DescriptionThe Retail Sales Representative is responsible for maximizing revenue and delivering exceptional customer experiences across retail locations within an established territory. This role focuses on training, coaching, and driving sales across Millwork, In‐Home, and Pro sales departments, while supporting the full Fiberon, Therma‐Tru, and Fypon product portfolio.The ideal candidate is highly motivated, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and skilled at building strong retail relationships. Success in this role requires strong communication, organizational, and analytical capabilities, along with a hands‐on, field‐based approach.Position location: Field‐based role requiring regular daily local travel, with 2-3 overnight stays per month.What you will be doingGrow top-line sales within the assigned territory across multiple product lines.Develop a strategic approach to calling on accounts, with a focus on identifying impactful growth opportunities.Develop and execute effective sales training programs with emphasis on brand differentiators and premium product growth.Take ownership of the assigned territory by building strong relationships with store leadership and sales associates.Ensure all new and remerchandised stores are set on schedule with appropriate displays, signage, pricing, and merchandising.Drive Pro business by:Building relationships with Retail Pro AssociatesPartnering with distributor sales teams for joint store callsExecuting focused sales programsParticipating in retail Pro eventsDrive Repair & Remodel (R&R) revenue by developing and supporting Retail In‐Home Sales Consultants.Manage travel and expense budgets appropriately while achieving territory sales objectives.Build and maintain strong relationships with distributor partners to support shared growth goals.Collaborate cross‐functionally on sales messaging, new product recommendations, and point‐of‐purchase (POP) updates.Work with Customer Service to support claim inspections and recommend corrective actions.Recommend assortment changes to optimize in‐aisle stock and maximize sales.Ensure merchandising standards are met during each store visit.Perform additional duties as assigned in a fast‐paced retail environment.
