We are seeking a Locums Board-Certified General Surgeon to join ourgrowing team in Lavonia, Georgia, helping to develop and expand an Acute CareSurgery and Elective Practice. This opportunity offers a focused surgical rolewithout trauma coverage, allowing for a more predictable schedule and excellentwork-life balance. Position Overview Practice Type: Acute Care Surgery and Elective General Surgery Trauma: None Schedule: Flexible scheduling with 183 shifts per year Key Responsibilities Perform a full range of general surgery procedures, including endoscopy and EGD Participate in the development and growth of the Acute Care Surgery and Elective Practice Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, physicians, and support staff Deliver high-quality, patient-centered surgical care Requirements Board Certified in General Surgery Active Georgia medical license Demonstrated experience with endoscopy and EGD procedures Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach Extras : Generous (above market) hourly rate All travel arrangements provided and booked by the group, on top of the per shift rate Med-mal and tail insurance covered Personal locums consultant to manage credentialing and scheduling shifts Lavonia, GA offers small-town charm with convenient access to outdoorrecreation, including Lake Hartwell, while being within driving distance ofmajor metro areas.
