As a Medical Record Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional patient care. Medical Record Coordinators/ Transportation Aide will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical records department.Responsibilities Assist in organizing, planning, and directing the medical records department in accordance with established policies and procedures Maintain active and discharged medical records with established systems Establish and maintain compliance with recognized systems for filing File information such as nurse's notes, resident's assessments, progress notes, lab reports, x-ray results, correspondence, and other relevant documents Collect, assemble, check, and file resident charts as required Assist the MDS Coordinator in scheduling assessments in accordance with current facility and OBRA guidelines Review all records to ensure ICD-9-CM coding is complete Respond to requests for medical records copies and provide materials in accordance with applicable federal and state laws Provide innovative, responsible healthcare by creating and implementing new ideas and concepts that continually improve systems and processes to achieve superior resultsRequirements A working knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as legal aspects of health information On-the-job training provided in medical record and health information system procedures Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or GED Certified as a qualified medical records practitioner preferred Documented training, supervision, and experience in maintenance of medical records and ICD-10CM/DRG coding Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements Must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well doneTransportation (Driver)Responsibilities:Transport residents to doctors' appointments, activities, and social eventsAssist with daily living tasks, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparationProvide companionship and conversation to residentsAssist with light housekeeping tasks and medication remindersObserve and report changes in residents' condition and statusConduct rounds to monitor for hazards or incidentsAssist with dining, including escorting residents to the dining room and serving mealsOther duties as assignedRequirements:High School diploma or GEDMust be 18 years of ageFlorida CNA licenseAbility to read and communicate at an adequate level to perform essential job dutiesAbility to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respectAbility to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial mannerValid driver's license with a clean driving historyAbility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidaysWhat We Offer Competitive pay, along with holiday pay and a paid time off (PTO) program Access to online learning 24/7 to help satisfy your personal and leadership development Health insurance for the entire family 401(k) with a matchIf you are a team-oriented, driven, and excited about the opportunity to build a facility culture, then we have the perfect opportunity for you!
