VDC Manager (BOND Building)
Core Responsibilities
Able to perform all Core Responsibilities of our Virtual Design & Construction Specialist
Lead BOND's VDC Process and standards and apply them to assigned projects
Proficient in Revit for Architecture and Structure modeling
Manage model maintenance, including incorporating design updates for project-specific requirements
Review construction documents and models for errors and omissions and identify corrections as necessary for the VDC Specialist
Support the Preconstruction process with design model reviews and pinch point identification.
Prepare BIM Execution plans for project-specific requirements
Prepare Project Coordination Schedules for efficient and effective project coordination and submittal review
Assist in the development of project and field teams in the use of BIM tools and model utilization
Assist in the development of the VDC Specialist
Perform model-based Coordination through the utilization of Clash Detection and Coordination Submittal development
Creates and maintains clear and effective project documentation, such as meeting agendas, meeting minutes, and constraint logs
Lead project teams through BOND's VDC process, weekly coordination meetings with design teams, consultants, and subcontractors
Manage workload hours for related projects, working directly with the Sr. VDC Manager on task completion
Ability to work with laser scan point cloud data
Perform QA/QC verification
Ability to quickly and effectively solve complex problems
Learn and apply Lean process and philosophy
Assist with business development and participation in proposals and interviews
Operate laser scanner and process data, as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience (ideally for a general contractor or construction manager in New England)
Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally. Positive and collaborative attitude with strong interpersonal skills
Ability to read and understand Construction Documents and project BIM Requirements
Demonstrate effective written and verbal English language communication skills
A strong attention to detail, high level of ownership, organizational skills, controlled sense of urgency, and the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
A strong interest in learning improvements and advancements in construction-related technology and processes, and obtaining related certifications
Ability to use independent judgement, problem-solving ability, self-starting, and ability to prioritize based on relevant factors
Demonstrate integrity, respect, and excellence in their work
Drafting and computer skills required. High technology aptitude desired
Ability to prioritize work and meet project deadlines
Proficiency in MS Office
Ability to learn and apply software to the overall VDC process. These include:
Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks Manage, Civil 3D
Procore
Trimble's SketchUp
Bluebeam
Faro Scene
Autodesk Construction Cloud
Autodesk Design Collaboration
Other applicable software
Certifications in OSHA 10, First Aid/CPR, AGC CM-BIM, CSI CDT, Autodesk Certified Professional are preferred
A strong interest in participation in Networking and Memberships or related organizations

The expected salary range for this role is $105,000 to $140,000 per year. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
