R&D Lab Support Specialist

Pride Health is seeking a R&D Lab Support Specialist for an American multinational conglomerate operating in the fields of industry, worker safety, healthcare, and consumer goods.Job Title: R&D Lab Support Specialist Location: St. Paul, MNJob Type: ContractLength: 12-MonthsHours: 40 hours/wk, 8 hours/dayPay Rate: $21.00 - $23.90 per hourOverview:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented R&D Lab Support Specialist to join our team. This individual will prepare, operate, and maintain laboratory equipment for testing. Support technical staff with product development and customer complaints by performing routine tests to determine specific characteristics of experimental materials, or existing product modifications that are upstream R&D.Record in detail all the processes used in testing, sample preparation and testing set-up. Record test results in electronic equipment programs and/or manually record results into standard templates. Communicate results and information to the appropriate requester. Make observations of tests in process, noting irregularities, defects and issues during testing. Troubleshoot issues related to equipment or materials. Perform data analysis, conclusions and reports if needed for test results.Maintains supply of inventory to ensure laboratories are properly stocked. May order supplies of raw materials as needed.Work with technical personnel to develop a laboratory network of technical resources that can be used to complete assignments. Provide input into writing and modifying of current and new test methods.
