Founded in 2022 and based in Miami, Florida, Connexa operates with distributed teams across New York and California.Our first committed fund is halfway through deployment, backing innovative founders with capital, strategic guidance, and access to our deep operator and executive network.This MBA internship offers hands-on exposure to our venture capital deal flow and portfolio. You’ll gain direct experience in sourcing, preliminary diligence, financial modeling, and investment committee preparation, working closely with the investment team to evaluate and prioritize opportunities across the pipeline.Duration: 10 weeks (Summer 2026), part-time and fully remote with a fixed weekly scheduleWhat You’ll DoKey Responsibilities:Preliminary Diligence – Screen new opportunities and prepare company summaries to help the team go deeper on the pipeline and prioritize faster.Deal Evaluation – Analyze financial metrics, business models, and market trends; conduct market sizing, competitive landscape, and comparable company analyses; assess risks, opportunities, and technical defensibility.Financial Modeling & IC Prep – Build and refine financial models and draft investment memos and IC materials for internal and external audiences.Pipeline & Process Management – Keep deal flow, diligence workstreams, and pipeline data organized for the team using Claude and our internal tooling.Sourcing & Market Research – Conduct thematic and market research; collaborate with the team to source startups and build relationships within the founder and investor community.Qualifications:Enrolled in a top-tier MBA programPrior experience in investment banking (strongly preferred); additional experience in venture capital, private equity, consulting, or related fields is a plusStrong analytical and financial modeling skills, including proficiency in ExcelProficiency with Claude (or comparable AI tools), with the ability to apply it effectively across research, diligence, and analysis workflowsExcellent communication and presentation abilitiesHighly organized, detail-oriented, and a proactive self-starterNote: This is a paid, part-time internship.Application ProcessInterested candidates should apply through LinkedIn.
