This role offers an excellent career opportunity with competitive benefits, including health insurance, a 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and more.Position DetailsSchedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PMOvertime: As neededTravel: Approximately 5% (mainly for occasional meetings in Gahanna)Work Setting: Onsite – in office five days a weekPosition OverviewThe SCADA Analyst Associate supports and maintains systems that monitor and control the electric power grid, ensuring safe and reliable delivery of electricity. The role includes responsibilities across two key areas:1. TOPS SCADA – Primary ResponsibilitiesSupport the Energy Management System (EMS) and Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA) platforms used in Transmission Operations. Duties include:Providing guidance and support to less experienced analystsTraining junior team members on tools, equipment, and softwareEnsuring reliable operation of EMS/SCADA systemsImproving system performance, data accuracy, and reliabilityMaintaining real-time data interfacesDeveloping and enhancing EMS/SCADA tools and softwareKeeping systems updated with current technologiesCreating and maintaining custom one-line displaysModeling, testing, and commissioning Remote Terminal Units (RTUs)Building and maintaining EMS/SCADA modelsRecommending and defining internal EMS/SCADA standardsSupporting Human Performance Initiative rules and related KPIs2. Protection & Control SCADA – Support ResponsibilitiesAssist Protection & Control Engineering with SCADA standards, configuration, troubleshooting, and project support. Duties include:Scoping small to medium SCADA projects with limited supervisionIdentifying process or tool issues and recommending improvementsPerforming complex RPA work and RTU configurations (legacy and modern systems)Expanding knowledge of communication technologies (async, sync, etc.)Providing support for common SCADA-related issuesCompleting alarm and basic I/O settings for Greenfield and Brownfield projectsImplementing standards with limited guidanceSupporting SCADA compliance effortsLeading training activities as part of internal development programsMinimum RequirementsEducationBachelor's degree from an accredited university in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or related field with no experience requiredORAssociate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical fieldAdditional RequirementsStrong understanding of relevant equipment and softwareExcellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and facilitation skillsExperience with SCADA systemsAbility to troubleshoot technical issuesWillingness to provide after-hours support as neededAbility to learn and apply current technologiesBasic understanding of Protection & Control applications and their impact on SCADAWillingness to learn substation equipment with guidance from senior team membersAbout Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS)Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is an international recruiting firm specializing in Engineering, Technical, and Professional staffing.
