Froedtert ThedaCare, a highly successful northeast Wisconsin non-profit health system, seeks an experienced Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our APC Faculty team for our Appleton, WI location.Position Highlights:0.25 FTE opportunity working with fall and spring cohort fellows during their 12-month long program one day a weekSupervise, teach, and mentor APCs enrolled in the fellowship programDirectly responsible for giving learners formal feedback daily, reviewing and observing direct patient care, and attesting APC fellow documentationResponsible for teaching principles of point-of-care evidence-based medicine, and participate in their own development as facultyCollaborate with and provide feedback to APC Fellowship Task Force for continuous improvement of the APC Fellowship programQualifications:PA-C or NPMinimum experience of at least 3 years practicing as an APC in a Primary Care clinic setting and Board certification in Family Medicine, Pediatrics, or Internal MedicineActive Wisconsin medical license and in good standing as well as in good standing within organization and current clinical practice settingThedaCare is committed to a belief that the best place for healthcare professionals to provide care will always be the best place for patients to receive care.
