Senior/Staff Infrastructure Engineer📍 San Francisco (hyrbid) 💰 $200K–$300K + EquityAbout the Role:We’re partnering with a fast-growing, venture-backed startup building at the intersection of AI and security. They’re tackling the hard problem of helping engineering teams securely build and scale modern applications in an AI-driven world.They’re looking for a Senior/Staff Infrastructure Engineer to help design, scale, and secure the core platform. This is a high-impact role with strong ownership across infrastructure, reliability, and developer experience.What You’ll Do:Own infrastructure reliability, performance, and scalability across environmentsDesign, build, and scale cloud infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)Improve observability, monitoring, and alerting (Datadog or similar)Optimize deployment pipelines for speed, reliability, and safe rollbacksPartner closely with engineering to improve developer experience (CI/CD, tooling, test performance, etc.)Help design and support scalable architectures, including enterprise-ready environmentsRequirements:5-10+ years of experience building and scaling cloud infrastructureStrong hands-on experience with AWS (ECS, Lambda, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, etc.)Deep experience with Terraform / IaCStrong coding skills in PythonExperience with monitoring/logging tools (Datadog or similar)Background in incident response, uptime, and production reliabilityExperience building systems with strong observability and performanceExposure to AI or high-compute workloads is a plusSecurity mindset / experience with secure cloud architecture is a plusComfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-ownership startup environment
