Job DescriptionThe Buyer manages the end‑to‑end procurement process, ensuring the organization receives the right materials, products, or services at the best possible value. This includes market research, supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, order placement, and ongoing supplier performance management. The role is critical for maintaining operational continuity, cost efficiency, and strong supplier relationships.ResponsibilitiesSource and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and competitive pricing.Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve cost savings and favorable conditions.Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with planning, production, and logistics teams.Analyze market trends, pricing changes, and supply risks to inform purchasing decisions.Maintain supplier relationships, including performance reviews and issue resolution.Collaborate with internal stakeholders (engineering, operations, finance) to understand requirements.Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.Track KPIs such as cost savings, on‑time delivery, and supplier quality metrics.Identify opportunities for process improvements within procurement workflows.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, or related field.2–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles.Experience working in an international supply chain, basic understanding of some cultural differences, international team dynamics, and differing foreign cultures.Previous oversight or responsibility over a designed supplier portfolio for either production materials or non-production materials preferred.Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) is required. (Knowledge of SAP, MM module preferred).Strong negotiation and contract management skills.Solid understanding of procurement processes and supply chain principles, partnered with project management skills.Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and market trends.About UsWe are a trusted partner for our customers in the automotive industry.
