In this role, you’ll collaborate with experienced engineers and project managers on the design, analysis, and delivery of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Typical assignments include planning studies, engineering reports, system design, and construction administration for both new developments and system upgrades. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to client relationships and business development as part of a supportive, high-performing team.ResponsibilitiesProvide professional services for civil engineering projects to include design, plans, specifications, reports, project budgets, scope of work, permits, contracts, schedules, estimates, and coordination of sub-consultants and contractorsProvide quality control and quality assurance on all project workMaintain budgets and schedules of project assignmentsMaintain quality client relationships and communicationCoordinate, facilitate, and attend internal and external meetingsProvide guidance to junior engineers, technicians, and other project team membersBasicBachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related fieldRegistration as a Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within 6 months5+ years of experience in civil engineeringAbility to travel as required for business development and project/client responsibilitiesProficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and OutlookAll applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations. PreferredMaster’s degree in civil engineering or related fieldProficient with Civil 3DAbility to lead both internal initiatives and external projectsAbility to multi-task and effectively manage multiple initiatives simultaneouslyPhysicalAbility to walk up to 3-miles on uneven terrainAbility to stand or sit for prolonged periods of timeOccasionally climb, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twistOccasionally lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderate amounts of weightMay require lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds, with rare lifting of up to 50 poundsAbility to inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
