The position includes a combination of outpatient clinic and inpatient responsibilities, with a schedule of approximately 4 5 days per week. Clinic hours are 8:00 AM 4:00 PM with patient contact time averaging six hours per day, and call responsibilities are included. Providers will manage medical hematology and oncology cases, including patient evaluations, development and management of treatment plans, chemotherapy management, therapy adjustments, coordination of ancillary services, and end-of-life care. The role also includes inpatient rounding at both locations and potential outreach coverage in Newton, Iowa, approximately six days per month. Telehealth services are also part of the position. The practice is supported by 1:1 nursing staff, imaging, lab, and pharmacy services. Average clinic volume ranges from patients per day, with an inpatient census averaging patients. The EMR system utilized is Epic. Requirements:* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology * Fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology * Active Iowa medical license or active IMLC with Letter of Qualification * Demonstrated clinical experience in Hematology/Oncology * Willingness to provide coverage at both locations * Clean malpractice and background history with current Self-Query NPDB reportby Jobble
