The position is in the division of Interventional Pain within the Department of Orthopedic Surgery. The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will provide patient care under the supervision of a physician, including conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, developing treatment plans, and managing patient care.Evaluate new patients with painful Spine and Musculoskeletal conditionsOrder Interventional Pain procedures (injections, nerve ablations, stimulation, etc.)Followup on patients after proceduresNo long-term opioid management (minimal if any short-term)QualificationsExperience in an Interventional Pain Practice is preferredAppropriate licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse PractitionerLicensure in the State of California or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date
