Assistant Construction Project Manager

Iskalo Development Corp. is seeking an Assistant Construction Project Manager to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated construction professional looking to gain hands-on experience across all phases of commercial construction and real estate development. The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with our Director of Construction, Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and consultants on a wide range of commercial projects including ground-up construction, historic renovations, adaptive reuse projects, hospitality developments, and commercial tenant improvements throughout Western New York. Responsibilities Assist with all phases of commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout Support estimating, bidding, scheduling, scope development, and subcontract coordination Review and track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and quality Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and internal teams Help maintain project schedules, budgets, and reporting Assist with project closeout, punch lists, and certificate of occupancy requirements Maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders and tenants Qualifications 1–5 years of construction management, project engineering, or related commercial construction experience Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, or related field preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Understanding of commercial construction methods and materials Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office required Experience with project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or Microsoft Project is a plus Why Join Iskalo Development?
