Ludlum Measurements Inc is seeking a talented Shipping Clerk professional to join our team in Sweetwater, Texas. The Shipping Clerk is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments globally. This is a high-volume, physical operation requiring a meticulous person to work as part of a team dedicated to ensuring the integrity of our Shipping operations.To be successful in this role, you will need excellent written and verbal communication skills and diligence. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, opportunities for professional growth, and a supportive, collaborative work environment.Job Type: Full-Time, In-PersonJob Duties & Responsibilities:Accurately packing items according to shipping requirements and company standards as well as selecting appropriate packaging materials to protect products during transit. Ensuring proper labeling and documentation for each shipment. Weighing and measuring packages to determine shipping costs and methodsCoordinating with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries. Tracking and monitoring shipments to ensure timely delivery. Communicating with customers regarding shipment status and delivery updates. Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels as well as stocking and organizing materials. Ensuring that sufficient packaging supplies are available. Maintaining accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
