Configuration Management Specialist

Invariant is seeking a talented and experienced Configuration Management Specialist to support Government programs for the DoD. This role will support multiple DoD programs and internal hardware production efforts. The Specialist will also be expected to support additional program functions, such as design and safety verification, Acceptance Data Package development, and Physical and Functional Configuration audits.
Duties Include
Develop and maintain program Applicable Documents Lists
Develop and maintain program data libraries in SharePoint and Arena
Work with Program Managers and project engineers to develop and deliver contract CDRL requirements
Maintain and track issuance of drawing and document numbers
Administer the document and drawing release desks for multiple programs
Develop and transmit deliverable data and document packages
Develop and administer drawing and document approval workflows
Develop and track design verification items
Develop and maintain the Design Requirements Traceability Matrix and the Design Verification Tracking Matrix
Conduct Configuration Control Board meetings for design verification items and safety hazard controls and verifications
Develop and maintain the Safety Verification Tracking List
Develop data packages for the Physical and Functional Configuration Audits
Assist manufacturing organization with development and control of job tracking documents
Requirements
Demonstrated successful performance in program configuration and data management
Experience maintaining deliverable document records and databases
Experience in establishing a deliverable schedule and supporting programs in early deliveries of deliverables
Experience with drawing and document release processes
Experience supporting contracts $100M+
Obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Preferred
Experience with Arena/Omnify configuration databases and workflows
Experience with Jamis Prime, or similar software (e.g. Costpoint)
Experience with manufacturing processes
Requires ability to:
Some travel may be required depending on project requirements
Work well in a small, fast-paced, and mission-driven environment with co-workers, management, and customers

Work independently with minimal supervision, make rational decisions, and exercise good judgment
Work Environment:
Office, lab, and field environment.
Must possess ability to safely lift and carry up to 35 lbs. with occasional bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and reaching above shoulder level, minimal walking, climbing, crouching
Vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; hearing and speech to communicate is required
This position is expected to be performed only in the state of Alabama.
