Entry Level CAD Drafter

Job Description: Our client is looking for an Entry Level Cad Designer to join their team. This role will be in the office creating a variety of work order for clients in the power utilities space. This company provides full training, room for growth and exposure to different projects and teams! This is a long term, stable opportunity.The purpose of this position is to provide technical expertise to accurately evaluate options and design safe, cost effective, and reliable distribution facilities for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.Learn company/client policies and procedures for the development of site designs for electrical distribution facilities to serve a variety of customers.Prepares site drawings and construction sketches for various installations of electrical facilities in a cost-effective manner that maximizes safety and service reliability.Prepares project or job packages including material estimates and material requisitions of the materials required for the prepared distribution electrical designs.Going out and assessing the lines, taking notes to complete the scope of work, taking measurements and pictures, etc.Must Haves:Own reliable form of transportationAbility to work 40 hrs/week onsite)Completed Bachelors or Associates in Engineering, GIS, or related Strong Communication Plusses:Any amount of experience in utilities/power distribution/Telecom experience
