Overview In this role, you lead security operations across multiple NSS facilities and programs to protect personnel, information, and facilities. You will develop security plans, mentor a security team, and ensure compliance with government and company policies. You’ll interface with program managers and government security officers to enable contract performance within secure environments. Compensation / Benefitsovertimeshift differentialdiscretionary bonusbase paycareer developmentbenefits consistent with employer policy ResponsibilitiesLead a group of security professionals to deliver operations across multiple facilities and programsOversee Personnel Security, Physical Security, Information Assurance, COMSEC, and Visitor Control for NSS program locationsMentor and develop team; conduct performance reviews and manage role expectationsInterpret and enforce security policies; guide program security personnel to protect and enable businessInterface with program managers and Government Program Security OfficersDevelop and maintain DD254s and security guidance; provide security support to prime and subcontractorsDevelop and revise program-level security plans, procedures, and instructionsOversee security education, briefings, self-inspections, audits, and incident investigationsEnsure timely security volume development for NSS BU proposals; manage facility information in NISSPrepare self-inspections and lead DCSA security reviews for programsConduct programmatic audits to ensure compliance and provide metricsOversee classified space and document control per customer safeguarding standards Key requirements10+ years of security experience5+ years in security office administration/management and/or facility securityActive Top Secret clearance (TS/SCI)Strong understanding of DoD and IC clearance processes and 32 CFR Part 117Knowledge of intrusion detection systems and access controlAbility to work in multi-level secure environments and apply government security requirementsKnowledge of combatant command structure and operational requirementsExpert knowledge of NISS, DISS, NBIS, Scattered Castles, and IC databases/systemsExperience managing classified collateral facilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsleadership and team developmentindependent problem-solvingclear and concise communicationintrusion detection systemsaccess control devicesNISS, DISS, NBIS, Scattered Castles
